Everyday Joe and I find ourselves astonished at how much Henry grows up each and every day. This past week he has started to string together a few words into half sentences. One of his first being "That's hot" (meaning my coffee). It came out more like "Dat hot", and then he proceeded to blow/spit all over my mug...but that's just a joy of motherhood, right?! :-)
He also seems to be attempting to say "I love you", which melts our hearts. He continues with his plethora of sounds (dog, monkey, lion, car), but I have heard him actually SAY dog recently.
His favorite words as of late are "car" and "shoe". "My shoe" to be more percise.
He has let out a "No" or two this week, and is also learning the difference between shaking and nodding his head and the meanings attached with them. There are not words to explain how helpful this is to us!
He also very much has an opinion (unlike his Mother, who is very easy and go with the flow type....HA!). Yesterday as we were getting out of the car he pointed toward his seat and grunted, I realized right away there was something in his seat that he wanted. My dilema-there was his sippy cup and his toy truck.
"Which do you want, your milk (gave him the sign) or your truck?"
"Vrooom vroooom"
Problem solved!! YAY!
He continues doing his signs, milk, all done, love, baby, food/eat and has started to do more. Tonight we were shopping, he finished his sippy-shook it, then shook his hands (all done), then looked straight at me and did the more sign. Good job Henry!!
Enjoy some recent pictures below....
Love,
